Viral Video: This Is Halloween Home Light Show

A quite talented individual in Riverside, CA has programmed his home with thousands of lights and Halloween decorations to be choreographed with music. One of the songs is “This is Halloween” from Nightmare Before Christmas.



Performing are

“singing pumpkin faces, tombstones, hand carved pumpkins, strobes, floods and thousands of lights. Most all lights have been changed from incandescent to RGB LED so power consumption is a lot less than previous years. Also DMX added to show. All lights, faces and props are custom made (DIY) by me except for the roof line which are CCRs. Controlling channels have gone up 8X from last year. 1144 channels.”

He’s also done a version with Party Rock Anthem.

Would you be happy if a home like this was in your neighborhood?

Don't know if I'd want him as a neighbor - but it's very cool. He did a version w/"Thriller" too. Also a favorite song of mine.

I've watched the video about 20 times in the last 2 days. I've looked up the software he's using and watched alot of other videos of people using the same software. It's very time consuming but very doable too. I live in a town house right now but when I get my own house I'll have something like this. Not as extreme at first but I'll get there lol.

Would you be happy if a home like this was in your neighborhood?

My son would be in hog heaven if we had something like this performing next door every night of the year.

As for DW & myself....Halloween night or a few nights before would be enough.

Still fun & very clever though. Kudos to the designer.
