I always got a kick on how force pespective and full out lies these commercials are made for Disney....But, for fun...If this was ever possible from where the angle of the view of the castle is it would have been a new hotel built on top of the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant...
Yes...perfect location for a hotel. Bunch of sneaks lol.
I wonder how many times guests called reservations and said "I want to stay in the hotel by the castle" :hilarious:

OK, I haven't been able to find my favorite commercial so I'm wondering if I imagined it. But I'm SURE it was real. It was in the mid-90s, Started out with two couples sitting around a card table playing cards. One couple's parents were in WDW and were describing what they predicted were Mom and Dad's experiences in WDW. Mom and Dad were retirement age. The guy playing cards would mention Dad going to bed early, and then you'd see the parents dancing all night. You'd see Dad playing golf, etc. Does anyone else remember this commercial? Please tell me it was real!

Yes, I remember that one!!

Has anyone ever seen the very funny Cold War Seas pavilion commercial from1986? Where some Soviet generals discuss a new secret American undersea base and laugh about the American cover story that it's for "Tourists". This stars Leon Askin, "General Burkhalter" of Hogan Heroes fame.

I've never had any luck finding this.
