Did they have any Pixar villains at all out? I can't recall any, maybe that's why Lotso didn't appear. Then again no other Pixar films really have villains that have ever appeared in the parks, a lot don't even really have villains.

He's really the only one besides the Zurg, but that always looked bolted to the ground. But they had Muppets, Marvel, Star Wars... They could've tossed him in Andy's room. I honestly think they forgot

I am assuming costumes don't exist, but Pixar has plenty of potential villains: Hopper (Bug's Life), Stinky Pete (Toy Story 2), Charles Muntz (Up), Syndrome (Incredibles) or Randall (Monsters, Inc).

Actually they could have done a non-living one prop of some of the Cars ones (Chick Hicks or Francesco or Professor Z) pretty easily as a photo op for the event. Couldn't they?

Correct no costumes. A cars photo op probably would have been cheaper than some options they went with, so there's that

Pretty sure I saw someone post a selfie collage from the event, and one sure as heck looked like a face Stinky Pete to me. Was that a guest in costume rather than an official character?

It was a guest. We saw him outside of Disney Jr, he was very convincing even more so in person.

This is the driver for an event like this. I do find it somewhat weird when it's adults going from meet and greet to meet and greet, but I know people look at me as an adult Disney fan as being strange as well.

I kind of relate the thing about adults seeing characters to wrestling. Wrestling fans know it's scripted and storylines are fake. They still go and watch and enjoy it. It's not like the wrestler characters exist in real life. They enjoy seeing the wrestlers and/or meeting them at the airport *cough CM Punk cough*. Those fans still go and spend millions of dollars on entertainment even though they know it is not real.

Disney character fans enjoy meeting the characters. I would say for most it is the memory of meeting a favorite from their favorite movie or meeting a character that is very hard to meet or see. If someone isn't to that, that is fine. Some are and find it to be fun almost like a scavenger hunt.

I agree, but it does reach a point of being unhealthy. I see people going to see certain ones multiple times a week on social media, and I don't think it's their friends. The absolute craziest thing I saw once was in Tokyo. A twenty something girl grabbed Donald's arm and would not let go. Security had to escort them both off stage.

I've befriended a few in entertainment. I always let them reach out to me. If they dont, then thats how it is.

Lol yeah, that was probably my selfie collage. The guy is awesome, let me take a selfie with him real quick and then others lined up after. I had seen him at the 24 hr event getting his picture with Lotso and we thought he was fantastic! He should work for Disney, just show up as Stinky Pete everyday!

@drew81 can check me on this, I think only 4 at the event fit that description and I think they could find another on 2 of those. They didn't do b2b on many they could have, brers, hyenas, pinocchio villains, basically all the roamers. They didn't really bring out the ones that fit the one left description. Oh, and where the hell was Lotso? I kept assuming the lists were wrong but I guess he didn't appear

All I'll say is he wasn't allowed to attend the evenings festivities. He was originally on the proposed list.

I read a review from another place on this. It was NOT good. The man said that not only did he feel he "wasted" his money, but it took time away from riding the rides and trick or treating for candy and other fun. Won't be wasting money on it. Disney is getting ridiculous with the extra charge for everything.

Wrong thread this is about the DHS villain debacle, not the MNSSHP villain debacle.
