THIS - Harbor house is the only option really.

Pecos Bills is legit bad.

Breaks my heart as a former Pecos CM.

Once they got rid of the Fixin's Bar it was all downhill. I still eat here out of nostalgia every trip, and it's not at the rock bottom it was, but it's certainly living on borrowed time. Plus it's an outdated IP that very few people recognize. I think if/when new dining opens in Piston Peak/Villains Pecos' number is up.

I’ve heard it got a major upgrade recently and is now one of the best options.
Pecos? I just ate there Friday night and it was really bad. Not just the food but the atmosphere and staff as well. Workers were standing around talking while tables were dirty.

The fixings bar is just sitting empty - which is bad show.

Yeah…. Pecos is in sad sad shape.

I ate there last month and it was laughably bad...i mean bad and the options were dismal.
This whole operation needs to be completely shut down, gutted to the studs and rethought... There should be a section of the restaurant that reflects the New Orleans Riverbend aspect with it's own counters and service area...seperate from the Burger n taco menu... Or completely gut and turn it into a more earnest attempt at doing a Tiana's Palace type restaurant...with an all "Louisiana style" menu with Gumbo, fried chicken, salads and burgers...then at the transition from Big Thunder to Auto Parts Mountain National Park, add another QS that would have a little southwest and whatever anthropomorphic cars eat in the National Parks...
Honestly if Big Thunder had some more space it would be grand to have a restaurant overlooking the buttes and mine trains... That would be the location for Tx-Mex and Southwestern/ Mexican offerings.....

Pecos is our go-to for lunch in MK. I haven’t been in years, so it is sad to hear it has gone down hill.

I agree that a New Orleans restaurant would make sense.

Eh, I think save Tiana’s Palace for table service if they ever expand northwest behind the train station. They could even re-use the leftover terminus of RoA to have it riverboat-themed on the water. The part of TBA that faces into Frontierland’s heart is intentionally rustic, so a random NOLA facade to replace Pecos would be weird. I think you could have some Tiana-branded options there, but it should thematically jive more with the Country Bears.

I agree one thousand percent, but I have a hard time imagining they'd expand that way for at least a decade, more likely two. By then I have an even harder time imagining they'd want to add more Tiana, so it's kind of a "I'll take it where I can get it." mentality.

A bit of New Orleans/Louisiana doesn't have to be Downtown City... it could still be as charming as Blue Bayou... and the Steamboat Gothic style of Tiana's Palace could be a whimsical representation of the lost riverboat...It would feel fitting enough. And I agree, any expansion beyond the train station to a Table Service restaurant is likely decades away...

DAK has just 1 coaster. It had 2, but one was removed and no new coasters are currently announced for it. Let me again highlight this: a coaster was removed.

EPCOT has just 1 coaster, relatively new.

DHS has just 2 coasters and a new one announced.

It's MK that's the coaster hog with 5 and a sixth incoming.

So, are all the new rides disproportionally coaster?

MK goes up two coasters (TRON and Villains) while getting two or three new rides (Cars, Villains, and kiddie Cars?).
EPCOT went up one coaster, and also one new ride, Ratatouille.
DHS goes up two coasters (Slinky and Monsters) and also got A.S.S., RotR, and Falcon.
And DAK goes down one coaster while getting a dark ride (Encanto).
In total, *recently,* there's five new coasters and one removed. While, at the same time, there will be seven or eight new non-coaster rides.

Can you guys spread some of the love with us West Coasters? We haven’t had a new themed E ticket coaster here since 1979.

What did you have?

I kind of liked the Frito and Queso burger when it was on the menu about a year ago. I thought it was a unique bite that offered an elevated theme park burger. Shame it seems to have been distilled down to a standard bacon burger, but the cherry coke bbq sauce sounds like it could be interesting!

@MisterPenguin im guessing it was just a budget a budget thing considering they re building a Coco ride and Avatar E ticket boat ride simultaneously. Obviously an Avengers version of Cosmic Rewind would have been a no brainer smash hit and from what I understand we had the room for it with a little tweaking of the ride layout. Now how they hid the blue box (especially from Cars Land) would have been another story.

Sure, Pecos Bill's has an empty fixins bar, but near the restrooms they also still a small bank of ...

PAY PHONES!! 🥰

As inoperable as the ones on Center Street, I'm sure, but still.
