View from the balcony...

At SSR this past Sept. we had an amazing view of DTD from the balcony and I spent several evenings and mornings hanging out there just enjoying the view.
I know many here just use the room to sleep and bathe between parks, but if you value resort time and relaxation, how important is view to you?

All these views are incredible! I heart mickey mouse!

Even the simple views at POFQ make me very happy:D

The first time we stayed @ Wilderness Lodge Villas we had a great view of the dumpster! It was kind of like Soarin' since it wasn't only for the eyes is also had a lovely scent to add to the thrill. It was not one of my happiest stays.
I know I have pics somewhere.

Now that is funny.
Never thought about it, but I guess there are dumpster views that would be less than desirable.

I can't afford those views.:(
But, we don't spend a whole lotta time except to sleep in the room.
So, I guess in answer to your question, for us, it's not a big deal!
Although I have to admit, I'd love to have the Tower Contempo MK park view!:D

Balconies are for drinking my dear. That is where the evening cocktail hour happens before the crash into slumber.

If you ever stay there, it is the last room on the right at the end of the 3 mile long wing in the Villas. I will make a request to be anywhere except near that if we ever stay there again.
We stayed there a couple of years ago and were near the elevators on the third floor, on the woods side (not lake) before you turn down the long hallway. We were over the area where Walt's scale trains are and our view was all woods and very quiet and serene, and luckily far from your aromatic dumpsters. I have a pic somewhere.

From the pic in your avatar, believe me, the smiles on the faces of those little ones will beat any view we could ever get.

The only times I've stayed in Deluxe resorts, I was on the ground floor with patios, so the views weren't THAT great. And I was actually slightly nervous to open the sliding door at WL because I'm terrified of spiders... don't judge ;) I spent my early morning coffee quiet time in the gorgeous lobby.

At the Beach Club, we were in the back of the resort, must have been right behind Future World. I could hear the morning Epcot announcements and the Innoventions loop from the patio... it was a great place to spend the early morning while waiting for my nephew to wake the heck up.
