Question for RAXIP - now that the Emperor and Royal Guards are back, are they doing any sets during the day at any of the M&G locations? Thanks

Oh I love the Hyperspace Hoopla (HOOPLA!) every year. It makes me laugh every single time I see it. And besides, it's one of the few things left on property that still has the spirit, and cast members, of the Adventurers Club.

I'm a really big believer in keeping my posts as positive as possible... but that Hoopla is the most awful thing I've ever seen! I know they're trying to make it funny, but seeing the Star Wars characters dancing to today's music was so strange...

Does anyone agree with me on this??

Ha, I was standing really near to the camera. My green hat shows up in the far left of the frame at about 1:40. I enjoyed the show, but I felt that certain aspects played better on the smaller stage. Can't argue with better sightlines and a freaking ton of pyro, though. Loved the C-3PO and R2-D2 at the end!

I wait anxiously for these Hooplah videos every year and I wouldnt even call myself a hardcore Star Wars fan! This year didn't dissapoint!!! Although I am waiting for someone to complain how it is inappropriate :brick:

That was cringeworthy, complete and total cheese in the very worst sense of the word.

With Lucas himself being there it gives the impression that hes okay with all this stuff...Not really sure how much control he maintains with these events but he is notoriously protective of the franchise.

I would have to think hes blessed this in some way , shape or form!!!

Lucas has final approval on everything.

Last night they broadcasted the Hoopla on the AIE screen outside the attraction.
