I am looking for MUCH help here as I am not involved with the plethora of video games and their accompanying systems. Which system offers the most Disney games? I prefer to purchase just Disney games for my daughter because of the lack of violence generally associated with the Disney name. I have tried searching the Nintendo, PlayStation, XBox, and GameCube sites, but their lists are all too broad. Thank you in advance for any information. :xmas:

altough the gamecube's mostly oriented towards kids, most of the disney games that they sell at the disney parks are sold for the playstation 2, and both the nintendo game boy advance and the DS. of course, you can always check out the virgin megastore which sells games for every system that's currently available.

Your best bet, frankly, is to go with a Game Boy Advance which you can get fairly cheap right now. There's a lot of games on that system that are Disney related. As a bonus, it's also got a battery life which means kids can't play it for days on end. 
(But, it's rechargeable, so it's not going to cost mom and dad an arm and a leg to keep it going). It's also portable, which means it's good for car trips or trips to the World - kids get excited playing their favorite Kimpossible or Lilo & Stitch game in anticipation of going to the Magic Kingdom.
Or, if all else fails, go with the good 'ol PC. There's a lot of stuff available on Disneyshopping.com for the PC.

Most console games made by Disney are available on all consoles. I know they just started up a new studio focused specifically on developing games for Nintendo consoles, so that will probably change soon. Kingdom Hearts is good on PS2, but if you're avoiding the violence thing, you might want to steer clear of that. I'd go with the Gamecube or Wii.

If you're looking for a handheld, I would definately recommend Nintendo DS.
It is one of the best video systems I've ever played. I prefer it over any of the console games I own or play (PS2, XBox, etc.)

I say go for the nintendo DS as well. Since it plays all the gameboy advance games you have a HUGE library of games. It by far has the most Disney/Kid friendly games out. Here is a list of some of the Disney games , hope it helps.
