Hello!

Our group is going to Via Napoli, and while usually I am not a picky eater and love pizza...I HATE places that put whole slices on or hunks of tomato in the pizza sauce...I was wondering if anyone who has eaten there can verify if this is the way Via Napoli does it or not...on their menu it just says "tomato" so I was somewhat concerned.

Thanks for any help!!

I do not recall hunks of tomato in the sauce. That being said, the pizza at Via Napoli is not like your typical Pizza Hut or Papa John's pizza. It is an Italian flat bread pizza which has a very thin crust.

Thanks!!!! I was trying to see if it was a thick or thin crust too...I don't personally care but a portion of the group wanted to know. WDWMagic is the best, I don't know what I would do without this place!

I had a "personal size " pizza. It was quite good- the mushroom one ( I can't remember the name). The wood fire pizza makes the crust thin and most of the time, I had to eat it w/ a fork! I couldn't finish it all.;) You must try the tiramisu- if you like coffee! It's the best I've ever had and I ate the whole thing!;) I don't think there are "chunks" of tomatoes unless you get a pizza that specifies tomatoes on top. Try allears.net for a menu. Most large groups get the mega mezzo ( extra large). It's 3 credits on the dining plan or up to 44$!
The kids pizzas are delicious ( cheese and pepperoni). Bon Appetito!

It isn't actually chunks of tomatoes (as you can see from the photos provided.) but there might be tomato fragments in it (as well like any other sauce). All I could say about the pizza is that it is very tasty. I had the margherita pizza which was fantastic. I actually went to Via Napoli because my parents had just came back from a trip to Europe raving about Naples pizza. So I knew that the closest experience that I would get to that is by visiting Via Napoli at Epcot, and boy was it delicious! My parents even said that the pizza tastes very similar to that of Naples. They seemed to have enjoyed it a lot, and it looks like we found our new lunch spot at Epcot.

No slices or hunks of tomato in the sauce. Really good pizza and a pitcher of beer is a must!

Be forewarned, the individual pizza is HUGE! My jaw hit the floor when he brought me my pizza, I had to ask if he got the other right. Ate half of it and I was so full I had to refuse dessert! If you and someone else in your part are not a big eater it can easily be shared, specially if you add a salad as an app.
