Via Napoli...Not the best meal

We ate there on our trip last week. The pizza was just OK in my book. For what we paid I expected much more. I thought quite over priced, particularly when you add toppings. If we try again we may try an entree rather than a pizza. We also had the salad which I found to be only so so. We didn't have reservations when we went but only waited about 10 minutes. Our waiter was just OK as well. It didn't make my must do again list.

We've eaten there once and had a great pie. Just reading this thread has made me want a high end pizza for dinner. We are going to hit Anthony's Coal Fired Pizzas at the intersection of Sand Lake and Turkey Lake here in Orlando. Because the $255 cover charge for the 3 of us is a bit much for dinner at Via Napoli
Whit!!! I take it you had the White truffle & Caviar toppings.

How do you judge "overpriced" at WDW?? Heck everything at WDW is overpriced compared to the "real world"..... :D ;)

All kidding aside...I have heard this comment from a number of folks who have eaten at Via Napoli.

Well $ 40.00 for a pizza which measured half a metre in a sit down restaurant and we still couldn't Finnish it.If that feeds a family of three and leaves us so full,we couldn't move.Id say for Disney prices, that was a cheap TS meal.:)

Via Napoli is absolutely a must do for us and we only ever get the pizza so I can't speak for the other dishes. The pizza is always delicious and the tiramisu for dessert is AMAZING!! One of the best desserts in WDW in my opinion. Most reviews seem to be stellar but there are some negative reviews here and there, just like you would see for every restaurant, anywhere.

VN is by far the cheapest sit down meal for us. We order the large pizza and between 3 ladies, we finish it and are full. I think the large is $30 so $10 a person plus beverage.. I think we paid on average like $17 per person for our meal there using TIW. That's a deal to me!!! :)

I went to Via Napoli because of all of the positive reviews I read here. I was with a friend and her two kids and I ordered Mezzo Rigatoni ( Chicken Alfredo w/peas) and a Pepperoni Pie. If I had ordered the pasta as a main entree I would have been very disappointed and the pizza was ok. The decor was nice and the staff was amazing but the food not so much. I used my ToW and the bill was still 80. For me it was nice doing it once, but probably will not go back
No plans on going there grew up on nyc pizza. When I moved out of the area learned to make my own( import h2o) That being said sorry you didn't like it . With so many other food options I know you will find some you love.

Any comments on the fried risotto balls? When we had looked at the menu we wanted those and a pizza for all of us to share!
I would stay away from the arancini and go with dessert in stead. They are pre-made and frozen, then just tossed in the deep fryer. Not bad, but would rather dessert. Try the zeppoli....

I agree. We order a large pizza for the 4 of us (2 adults & 2 kids - 8 & 3) along with an app or dessert and that is more than enough. Even with drinks, we can get out of there for around $70. In WDW, that is a bargain for a family of 4 @ a sit down restaurant.
