I don't know if you have it, but for those who went to high school in the 80's, VH1 Classic simply rocks. I've had it on in the background for the last couple of hours while I've been paying bills and surfing the web, and it simply rocks.

Anyway, I'm all caught up, and I'm off to play some Unreal Tournament before bed. Have a great nite! :D

Yeah, it'll make you feel a little dated, until you hear something you haven't heard in forever and start bouncing around the living room.

The 80's really did have some great music, didn't it?

VH1 Classic rocks, but I'm more of a "VH1 - Mega Hits" and "MTV - Hits" kind of guy. They play every sort of video on those channels (from 80's to now)!

Just got back from my trip, and 8-Trax played a BUNCH of 80's! Every nite!

8-Trax is FUN.. they also have a 70's night.. I love that place. I know I should like Motions but that place gives me a migraine personally with the pulsating lights lol.

Actually, I talked to the DJ at 8-Trax, and he said they're not playing 70's exclusively anymore. They still have 80's night on Thursdays, tho.

I agree on Motions. I don't get a headache from the lights, but they play a little too much rap for my taste. I did hear two or three good songs tho, and they have an AWESOME sound system.

I'm prone to migraines so the way the lights are and how LOUD the music is (maybe it's cause we were right near the stage though LOL .. but that's another story) always gave me a headache. Well except the one night we drank before PI.. so maybe the moral of this story is that if Angelique is going to Motions she should have a few drinks first LOL... (I miss PI!!)

Anyways :( that they dont have a 70's night.. but still 80's are good. I like the music that I can actually dance to... and I can't dance to the Rap and the Pop music gets on my nerves after awhile LOL...

Don't get me wrong, they still play a TON of 70's, they just mix in alot of 80's which they weren't doing last year.

As far as those headaches go, staying away from the speakers might indeed help! And while drinking is surely part of the fun at PI, there's always the headache that comes the morning after... ;)

Oh I didn't drink AT PI and I didn't have that much either LOL... my friend (who was dating my roommate) was completely gone. Hmm... never had the drink so much you have a headache the mornng ever thing.... And *thinks* last time we went out here to the bars I had a wierd malibu rum mixed drink before hand, a raspberry type ale thing then a smirnoff then 2 or 3 more raspberry ales and I could still walk straight and I wasn't sick in the morning LOL. Not that I drank anything with too much alcohol in it....

I WANNA GO TO PI... I miss being able to go to PI and club hop and see the comedy show and go to the jazz club and adventure's... and see the fireworks..lol....

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
Is VH1 classic the same as here in the UK? Boring dross buy day a bit of Rock for us ageing old fharts at night. I also like MTV2 and Kerrang the UK metal magazine channel ( a bit repetative though).

80s music was generally average with the odd classic thrown in but buy comparrison to the last 6 or 7 years it was a golden time.

Techno, house garage urban? what the hell is that ? its a spotty faced youth with his parents record collection and a computer programme avoiding mixing with people.......BAHHHHH HUmbug.

Motorhead remember me now Motorhead ALRIGHT:hammer:

I went out and bought Regatta de Blanc by The Police on CD just last weekend. Don't know where my vinyl copy is. The best thing is that it was just £5. It'll be going straight in the car.
