Very tempting, probably stupid.

Wife and I will be at WDW next week to celebrate our 20th anniversary without the kids (a topic for another discussion:)). There is an available table at Victoria and Albert's for Tuesday at 5:15 PM. We're scheduled to arrive that same day at 12:30 PM. While V&A would be an amazing, probably once in a lifetime thing for us, I'm thinking it might be unwise to book that time in case the flight, bus or whatever are delayed for some reason. Other thing is my wife does not fly well and her stomach is likely to not be real happy that day.

What do you think?

I like to keep travel days as easy and flexible as possible. Besides the travel sickness that you mentioned, tiredness may be a factor depending on how early your leaving home. My wife and I went to Jiko several years ago on our first night and while the food was delicious, it was hard to really appreciate as we were like zombies at that point of the day (after a 3hr flight down and day at the parks).

My thoughts echo those of @MrHappy
DH despises all modes of long travel, especially flying, so our arrival day is as low key as possible because he's exhausted and I am too. That's just us, others don't mind. Think it through more. I'd hate to hear that she was too stressed and not feeling well, or you have a timing problem with travel, and it ruined your dinner.

I'm assuming you're in this predicament because you cannot find a V&A reservation on another day during your trip? Is there any other really great restaurant you'd swap for it?

Thank you all for your concerns and feed(no pun intended)back!

Honestly, it's not a huge deal. I really checked dining options on a whim, saw the opening at V&A and thought it might be a great opportunity to dine there. Given the circumstances, you all have confirmed what I already thought - maybe next trip!
