Very small AK update!

Just wanted to mention that there is some new devices in the queue to Everest. They look like they are placeholders for screens of some sort as their is ventilation on the sides. Maybe something for interactive queue / My Magic+?

And I don't know how long its been like this, but they have removed the storage bags on the Kilimanjaro trucks. I guess too many people were leaving stuff behind due to the length of the attraction and forgetting about it.

I'm gonna make the call now and say if they are screens, they will read the nearby wristbands and display the names of people nearby saying that their train will be departing soon like a sort of airport board with departing and arriving flights.

I like the departure board idea with passenger names, cute. Too bad removing the cargo bags makes it look bad, but probably a good idea. I left my sunglasses in there once, went back to retrieve them pretty soon after, but they told me to check at the front gate lost and found, they were there! Apparently, they have CMs that just run from attraction to attraction collecting lost and found items to take up to the front gate. I can see how the cargo bags were a magnet for left behind items.

Thanks for the update. The cargo bags have been gone for months, I think sometime last fall is when they started removing them. I don't recall exactly when, but one of our day trips up we rode one truck with the bags and one without.

At least the yeti jokes are snarky one liners. The NextGen and Avatar bashing that will begin in about two pages or less are utterly overwhelming to keep up with.
