Very Merry Christmas

Hey there can anyone advise me on whether or not Very Merry is worth attending. I was adamant that I wanted to go but I have heard from a few people that it is just the same as the other nights around this time? This will probibally be our only opportunity to visit Disney in the christmas period for at least another decade  so if it is worth it I would hate to miss out.

On my trip down during the holidays I arrived after the MVMCP was going on. I would have loved to stroll Main Street USA with snow falling, but the Christmas experience, in my opinion, was great even without the party. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade was wonderful and continues on through Christmas (and maybe until Dec. 30...I know the Candlelight Processional at Epcot does). Anyway, whether you catch MVMCP or not, you won't be disappointed with your holiday experience at WDW! Have fun! (I'm going for my second Christmas at WDW this year!)

I have never been before, but we are going this December and I can't wait. Just having the snow falling down on Mainstreet is a BIG thing for me :) (coming from Texas where it is very rare to have a snowfall- my dd is 6 and has only seen snow once in her life....)

They also have a special fireworks show for the MVMCP and a parade. To me, it's worth the extra money :)

How can either of you POSSIBLY SLEEP???? I have 138 sleepless nights left and I haven't slept since we booked our trip!! :D
As for going during the winter hiolidays, we love that time of year. Being from New England, it's not the snow on Main Street I enjoy, It's the fact I don't have to shovel it. This past year, MVMCP seemed very crowded compared to past visits. Still enjoyable and worth it in my opinion. If for nothing more than enjoying the park at night. Only reason we're going in October and not December this year is because our AP's expire... Have a great time! :sohappy:

This site is fab I am so pleased I found it so much useful info on it. If anyone has any ideas of different things to do at the parks I am open to ideas!!!!

MVMCP is one of the true must do's for me. I havent missed a Christmas ( First half of December) or a MVMCP since 1999 when I first started going. Tehre are shows and things going on that you literally canot see any other time but then. Also the perimeter fireworks are Kickin'!!!! Belle

LOL- Believe me, most of my thoughts are on that trip :) I guess it helps knowing that I have been to WDW 20 times or more in my life already and I know that for the rest of my life I will be going there also- thank goodness DH is more of a nut about WDW than I am :D

I think it is worth it. Gets you in the Christmas Spirit. I love it especially the snow and music. And if its cool its even better.

I went for the first time to MVMCP last year. (See photos here.) It was a Friday night (thus sold out) but it wasn't over crowded and we never had huge waits for things. The snow on Main Street, everyone walking around in Mickey-Ear Satna hats (myself included!), the snow, the parade - it was just a cool experience. And they give you free hot cocoa and cookies. Which were super yummy and a nice treat throughout the night.

I'd definately do it again. It was just a great evening.

MVMCP is a must. There is so much to do.

Here are 10 reasons to go and there are many more.

1. Twas the night before christmas show at the Galaxy theater is great.
2. The Christmas Parade
3. Wishes 360 and this year is suposed to have a extended holidays version at MVMCP only.
4. Kids Christmas Party by Ariels Grotto
5. Belle's Enchanted Christmas in the Fantasyland Pavillion
6. Hot Chocolate and Cookies
7. Snow on Main Street
8. Low Crowds
9. Free Picture (Yes I said free, after you pay for admission)
10. Celebrate the seasons show at the castle forecourt stage

Don't forget you can make Advanced Dining Reservation right now for times during the MVMCP @ Tony's Town Square and Liberty Tree Tavern.

Couldn't agree more! Went last year for the 1st time... and definitely want to go back! Nymber 3 on the list, is almost worth the admission alone....
