Very excited!

Hi all,
Well I have gone ahead and booked Wdw, although we swore we wouldn't because of money- in the end we couldn't resist! LOL. We are staying at AKL (first time ever at a deluxe!)- and leave in just over 2 weeks! We are in Florida from 5th to 19th Sept! I still can't believe it! So this is now officially our wedding planning trip and we have an appointment with Pam Pearce on the 11th- right before heading to MNSSHP! So, has anyone had a planning meeting before as I have no idea of what to expect or what if anything I need to be asking for info on as this suddenly seems very fast!

Please share your experience. We can't book until October for our May Wedding at WDW, and so far it seems that the "planner" I have had contact with is, is the most unhelpful person ever...

Congrats!! :sohappy: Is your meeting at Franck's Studio?

If so, I had my wedding planning session there. Mine was different from yours, because they were helping me plan a Disney themed wedding at home. Since my wedding wasn't in Orlando I needed different things than you will. However, my planner was awesome & was very very helpful.

Make a list of everything you can think of to ask beforehand. Disney Weddings provides brides with pretty much everything they need - so ask about photography, flowers, food, cake, and dresses if you don't have one. Ask to look through the custom invitation book - they are AMAZING! You can pick one out, or design your own. Check out the sample programs too.

They do this all the time, so I'm sure they'll cover everything with you. I found them to be wonderful - I hope your planner becomes more helpful for you!

A Disney wedding!! AND staying at AKL. That is wonderful. I adore AKL and have always wanted to stay there. Looking forward to a trip report when you get back. Best of luck on the wedding planning.
