This is a video of the sun from the SOHO satellite launched by NASA, sped up to show the movement and sunspot activity over a period of days. We are supposed to be in solar minimum, meaning that sunspots have gone away. Sunspots are supposed to show up every 11 years, but this last cycle has been more active than any others in recorded history. I thought it was pretty cool, so here it is
