@NiarrNDisney all I could think about after reading your post was this snl skit...I wish there was a better video. But the guy does a good wiig impression...Love it!
My sister was engaged to on Main Street and it was such an amazing moment for them and both of the families! I just wish my panic disorder picked a better time not to freak out in the middle of... but at the end of the day it was an awesome memory!!!
edit: I forgot that my friends also got engaged in front of Cinderella's Castle and it too was a beautiful moment though it was also filled with its own drama. Thankfully nothing that could be blamed on me.

I saw this on a bunch other people's Facebook feeds. It wasn't a wedding proposal, it was a prom proposal.

I was told before I ask for her hand in marriage that I was not to do it on wdw grounds. She isn't for big suprises, or lots of people. It's all good.The important thing was she said YES. DW and I were married before we had taken our first WDW trip. So I arranged to wow her on our 30th anniversary years later with the help of Disney special events.... so see, its never too late, you still have a chance to do it up right at Disney.
My uncle is just about 6 years older than me, his wife is a month younger than I am...
The last family trip my uncle convienced me to pretend to ask my aunt to marry me. Right in front of the castle...people cheered, she was so embarrassed. His oldest daughter still says it's her favorite thing at Disney world.
Sometimes you gotta make your own memories...lol
I'm confused - he gave her a ring... For prom?

They seem a little old to be in highschool
Maybe I'm wrong or confusing it with another public proposal or prom-posal at DTD... Alas .... eh.
I see proposals at sporting events, concerts, etc. I'm not impressed by a middle of a square proposal of any sort.

Maybe on the wedding, and most definitely for the honeymoon! Although we haven't officially set any dates, I know that we want to have a wedding at home just because there are particular family who wouldn't be able to come down to WDW for the wedding, but our honeymoon is gonna be a combination of WDW,DL and Aulani (hopefully) lol!
