Many options.... All of the restaurants will accommodate, and most of the chefs take good care of all dietary requests.

Tusker House is one of our go to places for vegetarian meals. It has replaced Boma for us. Sanaa is also very good and several options.

California Grill has numerous vegetarian options.

Blaze pizza offers vegan cheese that is actually very good.

Wolfgang Puck's butternut squash soup is vegetarian (not vegan) and awesome with a salad.

One of the best vegetarian meals that I have ever had was at Victoria and Albert's. They went all out.

Has anyone done the Garden Grill breakfast at Epcot with both vegetarian and meat eaters sharing a table? My hubby and daughter eat meat but I am strict vegetarian. Will the cast member be able to keep the meat separate when serving? Don't want to come across difficult to them as I'm sure there be really busy. Thanks

Yeah, you should be able to ask.

I took a photo of the vegetarian platter at Tangierine Cafe, if anyone is interested.

Absolutely, they will separate the items on request -- Disney is very accommodating about such things and they're already sending out "custom" platters from the kitchen (e.g., family at table 10 wants more waffles and tater tots only) -- although FWIW, the items aren't piled on top of each other for serving either (photo below).. If your concern is that the very edge of a piece of meat might touch the very edge of a waffle, or something along those lines, then yes, you'll have to ask for the meat and non-meat items to be separated. If worse comes to worst and the platter comes out "mixed" despite your request, you could always just ask for a "refill" of the vegetarian-compliant items only. It's an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal, after all!

Thank you so much Weather_Lady, thats such a great help. We had booked to do this breakfast year but cancelled as it was a concern. Really looking forward to it now and the food looks amazing.

Vegetarian food can be pretty dire at Disney... They rely largely on tofu which tastes like wall paper paste. I think they assume you need a direct meat substitute, which of course you don't. The best advice is go for world cuisine... Asian, African, middle eastern, Chinese, Japanese because they incorporate a good range of vegetarian in to their food anyway, and don't need to modify their menu for you. I eat fish, and that is very good, but not everyone does.

I'm not a vegetarian - quite the opposite, but I'm enticed by Disney's vegetarian offerings often. Maybe I'm just not "in the know" when it comes to what good vegetarian options are available elsewhere but on several occasions at Disney I've picked vegetarian over meat and been completely satisfied. Especially at AK and AKL.
