Good Morning you lovely Folks. Now i am as much of a Veliciraptor as the next person but i got to thinking the other day. What am i missing out on by bypassing the vegetarian option as soon as i open the menu.
What one vegetarian dish would you recomend for me to try at EPCOT ? Please bear in mind i don't like mushrooms (or beets @figmentfan423 )

I have a few favorite places. Let's start with BOG for lunch I like the quinoa salad, and for dinner the ratatouille. The veggie sandwich at Restaurantsaurous is nice with an adult lemonade. SS has quite a few offerings. And lets not forget veggie burgers, CR and PB both have fixings bars and that's a meal in itself, so get a burger at either place and skip the fries.

At Tokyo Dining there are a few options. The tempura appetizer is amazing, and you can just ask for veggies, no shrimp or chicken. Then there are a couple veggie entrees to choose from. You can't go wrong!

Totally out of the way but the pesto bread at Art Of Animation is incredible and it was worth the trip to get it!

The Lasagna Verde at Via Napoli was a hit with my meat-eater mom. It's spinach and parmesan.

Sunshine Seasons has a great veggie flatbread sandwich and the vegan chik'n with noodles.

La Cantina has tasty cheese empanadas and I get the nachos without the meat and double the guacamole. The black beans have no meat in it are a great source of protein.

Rose&Crown features a AMAZING veggie and mashed potatoes dish, I had it last trip and it was soooo good!

Plus all the cheese! I know, not vegan but so delicious!

Someone in another thread mentioned a veg sandwich that they really liked, but I think it was at DHS :)eek:). I wouldn't mind trying something like this somewhere...
I had the veggie burger at Sci-fi and it was really good! Not sure if that's the one you're talking about?

No mushrooms or beets really hampers the choices. Morocco has some good dishes. Chinese food normally has a lot of non-meat dishes, but the Chinese food is EPCOT is American-Chinese, so it is very meat heavy.

Had a delicious supper at Tangerine Cafe last Monday, not a busy place which I can never understand, service outstanding, had the veggie sampler platter and it was yummy. DH had a lamb wrap and said it was really good.

My favourite thing to eat at Epcot is a margherita pizza at Via Napoli, with added fontina cheese and olives. Just perfect pizza.
Chips n' queso at La Cava. Also the chips n' salsa.
The vegetarian sampler at Tangierine Cafe. The hummus is divine and I also love the lentil salad that comes with it. Fresh, healthy and really flavourful.
ALL THE CHEESE. I esp love the griddled greek cheese with honey and pistachios from the Greek F&N booth. Also at F&N, I'm a huge fan of the Colorado Chili with Cashew Cheese at Terra.
I loved the Empanadas de Queso at La Hacienda de San Angel - they came with rice and black beans and some sort of delectable cabbage mixture. SO GOOD. The salsas had a nice kick to them too.

For the other parks...
any veggie sandwich at Earl of Sandwich can't be beat. They are so delicious it's ridiculous.
All the veggie options at Tusker House in AK are awesome - the hummus, tabboleuh, etc.
At Sci-Fi Diner, I asked for the Smoked Turkey BLT without the bacon or turkey, add avocado. It was really, really yummy. Like a guacamole sandwich, haha.
The Lighthouse sandwich from Columbia Harbour House is one of the best QS meals on property, in my opinion - for vegetarians. It's hummus with tomato and broccoli slaw.
My all-time favourite little vegetarian bite is the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli from California Grill.
