Hi friends!

I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with vegan treats during Mickey's Not so Scary? This will be our first year going as vegans, and I know there is a dedicated Allergy friendly center. Is this set up like the other trick or treating stops? And what kind of candy do they offer? And are there any vegan alternatives to the cute cupcakes they sell?

Thank you for any information :)

I am pretty ignorant,, but isn't almost all candy vegan? All clear candy for sure right? Candy corn is both healthy and vegan! :p

But more seriously, they have name brands, so your fav's are there.

Hey! Hahaha, actually, most candy is not vegan.

Most gummy candies are made with gelatin, which is a collagen made from animal materials. And then a lot of chocolate has dairy or eggs. I know, I knowwww - it's so complicated. I'm mostly hoping there are Skittles and Enjoy Life candy bars. But the more info, the better! Huzzah!

Interesting, I did not know that.

When we went they distributed candy old school style... from bags/bowls via a fist grab method. I did not notice, nor did I inquire, about alternate sources of candy. In another very recent thread, somebody mentioned a candy-exchange location. That might be your ticket to vegan candy. ...but you might be the one that picks it out as it may not be labeled as such.

Anywho, follow this tread on that.... and maybe throw in a variation of this question there...
