OH yea! It's official! Check out the official Van Halen website (http://www.van-halen.com ). They now have 11 tour dates listed. Well actually they're cities, no dates. All it says is those cities and "more info coming soon!" Oh man this made my day. I'm so excited. And it will be with Sammy Hagar (even better!) His website was recently updated (sans one of his band members) and on April 30th he is opening up a new Cabo Wabo Cantina in Lake Tahoe (aptly titled Tahoe Wabo) and on the final day of the 3-day celebration it states that the performance will be Sammy Hagar with special friends. I wonder who that will be? :sohappy: I have been waiting so long for this! Any other Van Halen fans out there? Cmon let me hear ya! No Jacksonville on the list yet but I'm sure they'll have more than just 11 cities.

:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :D :D :D

:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: I hope they come to New Orleans! Don and I saw them with Sammy Hagar and they put on a great show. Too bad they couldn't tour with David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar............ Boston did that a few years ago and it was impressive with both lead singers sharing the stage.

Sammy said he'd be up for that (a Van Halen tour with both lead singers) but the brothers have said they'd never play with David Lee Roth again after what happened with the 1996 MTV Awards thing.

That's great news. I look forward to seeing (and hearing) what is to come. Van Halen Balance is one of my favorite albums. This gets some serious w00ts.

:sohappy: :sohappy: :) :sohappy: :sohappy:

WOOT:sohappy: I hope they come to Birmingham :) I love VH with Sammy. I'm not much of a DLR fan at all. Don't care for his attitude. I also perfer Sammy's voice.

The rumor goin around is that the official announcement will be made on or before this Friday! :sohappy: I've been listenin to nothing but Van Halen (with Sammy of course) all day. The plan is that they will release the "Best of Van Halen Volume II" with 2 new Sammy songs, and then a tour will follow. And if all goes well, a whole brand new album following that.

:sohappy: We'll get higher and higher straight up we'll climb (doo doo doo doo) Higher and higher leave it all behind!

Well in 1996, Van Halen released the "Best of Van Halen Volume 1" which had 2 new DLR songs on it. Eddie and Alex claim that they told DLR over and over again that it wasn't a reunion, it was just for those 2 songs. But the 4 were presenters on the 96 MTV Awards and DLR told the audience that he was back in the band and they were reunited. So I guess the brothers didn't like that and told him that he was out. (I'm sure with a less tasteful choice of words). I'm just glad Eddie and Sammy could both swallow their pride and work things out so we can get this reunion.
