Value vs Moderate Beds

If I am not mistaken they are pretty much identical size and feel wise. To step up to a queen size mattress you will have to up grade to a deluxe resort or the value suites. All of the resorts will have king size rooms but they are extremely limited and in the case of the moderates extra money.

Are the beds in the Moderates any different/better than the beds at POP and the All Stars?

Both value and moderates have the same bedding, 2 doubles. Difference is in the moderates the rooms are a little larger. So if you 6 feet tall, you don't have to go out side to tie your shoes....

The mattress quality is different from the value to the moderates. The moderate is a bit more comfy.

I Agree, the ones from the moderate resort are not exactly the same ones of the value resort. They are more comfortable!

Has anyone ever taken a memory foam mattress topper on a trip? How would Mousekeeping deal with that?
I'm driving so the space it takes up won't be a big deal, plus I want to make my GF as comfy as possible.

We have found the moderate beds to be quite comfy and we have a bed at home the incorporates memory foam that we love. So unless there are back problems involved I'm not sure you would need a foam topper.
I agree with the others that moderate beds though the same size as value are a higher quality.

All of the rooms at All Star Music have been recently refurbished.
The refubishment was completed June 2007.
They now have the pillowtop mattresses and are very comfortable.

In my humble opinion everything is better once you leave the Value resorts. The bed we had at the Beach Club Villas was the best bed I have slept on property, oh and the big bed in the master bedroom at AK Villas. And I have stayed at the Grand and Poly and too me the Villa beds were better.
