Value resort rankings

Okay. So I've been volunteered to be head chaperone for my son's senior class trip to Grad Nite at WDW. Which Value Resort would be best: All Star Sports, Music, or Movies?

Movies.... but if you can, Pop Century has them all beat!!

Pop Century is the best one IMHO, but if you can't sing it, then I would go with Movies.

Movies, no doubt, as it's the newest. I stayed at ASMusic back in May with my school band, and it was showing its age.

All-Star Sports is the best by a large margin. Much better bus transportation than any of the other value resorts. The parking and building layout is much better than the other resorts (POP has rotten parking facilities and the building layout stinks).

Pop Century definitely. But if I had to choose an All-Star, it'd be Sports.

I have stayed at pop twice and loved it. However, I never relied on Disney Transport. But what I did notice is that Pop Century is the only all star resort to have a designated bus from the parks. But as the adult, I think your would enjoy Pop more since its full of a lot of old disney and other things from the decades. PLus its cool if you stay in the 50's and have to walk up a bowling pin to get to your room. However, parking is horrible there. If you plan on driving around, you need to get to the hotel early to get a decent spot.

I've stayed at all of the AllStars and Pop within the last three years, and my vote also goes for All Star Sports. When the bus stops are combined, you are always first to be picked up, and first to be dropped off on the route. The bus system for Pop stinks compared to all of the All Stars IMHO. The resort is huge and just has the one bus stop instead of the three for the All Stars. I never had bus stop waits like the ones I had during my 10 day stay at Pop. It was ridiculous! I highly recommend the preferred Surf building at AS Sports.

Definitely Pop, I thought it was great. Also, since DME being used by most resort guests, the parking lots aren't that bad at all. My brother drove down in August and I met them there, but every night no matter what time we got back to the hotel, there was a selection of parking spots close to our room. I know before DME when we rented a car, many times we ended up parking further away.

i stayed at all star sports and loved it, it was the first disney resort i had ever stayed in.

Allstars Sport

I've only stayed at all star sport and it was great we we're there for the 3 weeks that cover christmas and new year and found it not too busy.

Parking was fine to and the buses to the park we ok.

There also a Mc Donald just over the road from sport too. :slurp: .

Sports definitely.

It's not the newest. In fact, I think it's the oldest.

But the bus transportation makes it the best. First picked up, first dropped off.
