I know we have all been to WDW throughout the years, but if right now, you could take a five day WDW vacation and the transportation to get there was a time machine (sorry, no DME), when would you go and why (please avoid the cliche, "I'd go opening day so I could be a part of the magic from day one")?

I'd go August 23rd through August 27th. This way I could see Horizons and JII before they closed, as well as go to AK and ride Alien Encounter. I picked late August because I figured it would be slow, attendance wise.

My time machine has a California setting.
I'd want to go back to any time at Disneyland when Walt was there.

(I did do this when I was a child.)

Technicality...

I think I'm gonna buck the trend and use said time machine to travel about 100 years into the future to see how all of my favourite rides have fared over the years.

As much as we all lament over lost favourite rides (AE, JII, Horizons etc,), I would like to see if some of my favourites are still there in the future and maybe what changes have taken place. It would be great to see if any new parks panned out, or new sections were added to any parks (Beastly Kingdom?) etc.

I would say 1995 as well, but March 26th. It was my Honeymoon and first trip with the wife. I would also extend the trip. Dixie Landings was still the name. I love all the rides you mention and were new and fresh to us. I would add Superstar TV (Correc name?) at MGM. I only saw that once, but left a lasting impression. The only draw back was AK was not around..

Oh and no PhilarMagic to hear of :animwink: :p
