There's no requirements that you have to be a DVC member to purchase food or eat at any of their restaurants.

Disney doesn't do much to restrict you from spending money. You are allowed to shop & dine at all of the resorts. You can catch a bus from one of the theme parks or a boat from Downtown Disney. The boats seem to have rather limited operating hours, so keep that in mind.

Awww, man, you could've convinced him there was a ritualistic dance non-DVC members had to do in order to eat at OKW! How cool would that have been? You blew it!

I definitely suggest eating at the Old Key West restaurant. I forget the name... (I believe it's a female's name... and im too lazy to look it up) I still remember the meal I had there in 2003. It was fantastic and the wait staff is amazing. So much fun! They must make tons in tips... The boat ride will add much to the experience.

Nicely done!:)

See now, we had a terrible meal there. The waiter dropped my dad's bacon on the floor and then put it back on his plate. NO, he did not bring any more out! We'll never eat there again. My husband was mortified!
