V Arrives... (Spoilers!)

I am actually excited for V & probably will be one of the many to watch the first episode this Nov. 3rd.

ABC recently revealed the first 9 minutes of the pilot episode to promote it. If you want to watch, the link's here!

I dunno. The biggest appeal for me originally was Diana

and I haven't seen anything close to that to get my interest up.

But they did get the "We will return" right.

I have the original mini-series on my ipod. Loved it when it came out. There was a series of books also and I had them. Lost them when my garage flooded. I am also waiting for the new series. Hope it is as good as the original.

For anyone interested, ScyFy is now airing the original series as a marathon as we speak.

The Conversion Chamber's pretty freaky.. :dazzle:

SyFy is airing the 1984 " V " TV series today and concluding tomorrow followed by a reairing of the original miniseries... though that ends at 9 so you would have to change the channel by 8 for the first episode on ABC.. (Est times posted...)

Meh, forgot to post an update. V and Flash Foward are now on a "hiatus until March 2010.

V was planned to go on hiatus till march... they didn't even have any more episodes taped yet, they start jan I believe... ABC doesnt want to use their expensive shows against the winter olympics... so they get pushed back to march where they will run without a break to the season finale.

That makes sense, since more will tune in to the Winter Olympics. Also explains why Flash Forward stopped production a week ago.

So far I think that the new V series will be a hit...as much as any sci-fi can be that is. As for the Winter Olympics, I totally forgot that it was coming up. Awesome!

I have it on my DVR and will watch it either tonight or tomorrow. It has a lot of potential.
