Utilidors question

One Little Spark...
Why couldn't you build to the east (right) of the retention pond?

Additionally, if the land were constructed correctly, it could be a tunnel crossing over MK Drive. The trucks, busses and other vehicles could travel below it, and wouldn't have much impact on other park functions.

I think Arendelle would go quite well back there.

How about this? Move IASW to Epcot, relocate the Beauty and the beast Restrooms, and remove the circus tents
The bridge can be disguised as a cave or something.
A new and larger retention pond is built to replace the existing one and to offset the new retention needed for expansion

Looks fine except you run into being far to close to the fireworks platform problem. The new road that you have put is literally 50 feet from it so you run into the problems of closing the park off every night for close to 2 hours

Is it possible to relocate the fireworks platform farther north or would that not work because it would be to far away from the show?

When was the last time they did it?

The Fantasyland Expansion. They moved a small pond from behind Village Haus to north of the access drive, as shown in an image several posts up.

For the Tangled Restrooms, they installed large underground detention containers, since there was no room to put in a pond. That's an acceptable solution for small areas, but it's also very expensive.

Another thing is that everyone keeps thinking that a great way to do more of Fantasyland is to remove/relocate Small World, as seen in this thread here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/its-a-lost-world-where-does-iasw-belong.885455/. But the thing is, Small World wouldn't really fit in World Showcase, which is where everyone thinks it should be placed. That was another reason why I put up this thread, because right behind Small World is the entrance to the utilidors. I could theoretically remove the bathrooms in that area there (not the Tangled ones), but the utilidors entrance, along with all those problems back there that you mentioned (retention pond, fireworks spot that was never relocated), seem to be cutting off any and all possibilities. As you and I both agreed, Small World fits right in at the Magic Kingdom.

The thing is, when I do any sort of ideas, I like to try and do them as if they really would happen, whereas other people just do the so-called blue-sky process.

Theoretically, at Imagineering Disney, the author of that spot has criticized the decision to replace Epcot's Maelstrom with something Frozen-related, and instead proposed several other potential alternatives, one of them north of the Storybook Circus area (the potential spot is in red, as you can see):

But after what you said about backstage issues (retention pond, fireworks launch, etc.), I think that idea for a location in the red spot there is ruled out.
