using other resorts transportation AND what will Cinderella castle look like for YOMD

Hi All,
We are coming to Disney in June 07 and as there is only bus transportation available from one stop at our resort (POP Century) are we allowed to make our way to another near by resort and use their transportation ie boat or monorail or bus from a resort with a number of bus stops rather than one? Also does anyone know if cinderella castle looks any different during the year of a million dreams?? I know it was done up for happiest celebration on earth, but i was wondering if it has gone back to normal or whether its been done up especially for the year of a million dreams?

you can take transportation anywhere within property. If you want to go to another resort you will have to go to one of the parks and transfer to a bus, boat or monorail depending on where you want to go. The Pop Century offers bus transportation to all the parks, plus Downtown Disney and the water parks just like all the other hotels.
As far as the castle the only thing that has been done is that is being repainted that is all for now.

Thanks for your quick response!! What i need to know is, are ther any resorts/parks within walking distance?? Are there foot paths from POP Century to other resorts? Many thanks!!!

Info on Pop

There are no other resort/parks that are in walking distance of Pop. You just need to take the Disney bus from Pop to a park or DD then taking other Disney transportation depending on where you are. Once you have a plan for the day you can figure out the best Disney transportation to use. Like you can take a boat from Epcot to MGM so you can do those 2 parks one day or you can do MK and Epcot since the monorail "connects" the two. :wave:

Riding the bus from Pop is not bad at all. Because there is only one stop you don't spend a bunch of time going from stop to stop in the resort. It's more pleasant than some of the moderates, IMO.
