Using Disney Visa for Dining Discounts

Do you need to ask for the discount? Or does it come off automatically when you pay with it? Do you ever need to show the card or is it OK if it's linked to your MB and you don't carry it with you? Thanks!

I've used my cc before at Whispering Canyon but I had it with me. I don't know if they can tell if it's a Disney Visa if they don't see it?

You need to have the card with you and give it to the server. You cannot have the meal charged to your band and get the discount even if your Disney Visa is used for magic band room charges.

Also (you probably already know this, but thought I'd mention it anyway) you only get a discount at a select few table service restaurants.

I'm not sure if I can post the link, but if you Google "AllEars discounts", you'll find a page with PDF files listing dining and non-dining discounts for DVC, AP, TiW, and Visa members. They are still technically for 2016, but I believe the discounts generally carry forward.

I always show the card. The discount excludes alcohol too.

Yes....they aren't just going to take your word for the discount

just mention it and pay with it... the disney visa also gives 10% on disney merch anything over $50 in the parks shops
