Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a sound file from old school USF. It's back when they used to play movie themes/quotes, etc around the entire park instead of just top 40 stuff. They did this in the 90s to maybe early 2000s? I can't seem to find it at all, anyone have it or know where I can get it?

Thanks :)

Last I was there (last month) they still play themes, except in maybe Amity and Simpsons areas... Do you remember any of the themes? They play a bunch at the entrance and around New York.

They play the Back to the Future, ET, Apollo 13 and maybe Twister themes around the entrance/Production Central. Amity and Kidzone have appropriate thematic music going... I can't recall with New York, Hollywood, and World Expo.

Oh, okay - I guess I just remembered it wrong. When I was there in the mid to late 90s I seem to remember it being the same loop playing over the entire park. I remember it was themes from the rides.. ET, BTTF, Ghostbusters, Blues Brothers, Mels Drive In 60s type stuff, Jaws, Aflred Hitchcock, etc etc along with movie clips/quotes. I had this file not too long ago but lost it. Sadly there isn't much in the way of Universal multimedia. I have the IOA Cd and that's cool - wish you could get show sound files, sfx, etc etc from both parks.

I know that in 1999 they even played movie themes in the walkways from the parking garages but that too is now just pop/rock stuff.

Well they still play the themes/sound effects in specific areas so that you'll remember where you're parked... For instance in the Jaws section of the garage they play the Jaws score with screams added... In Jurassic Park it's the theme with roars as well...
