It will only take you 4 days to do Universal so you could do parts of both. If you're only wanting to spend all 4 days at one resort then WDW. I love both resorts equally so I can't tell you which one you'll like better. It depends on what you enjoy.

I'd probably tell you since you have 4 days to do them all at WDW for simplicity sake.

UO is great for 2 or 3 days. If you plan on staying on property at one of their nice resorts, I would relax by a pool and have some ggod food one day. WDW is always great, but a change is good as well.

I say Universal, especially if you're staying on-site. Either way, the parks shouldn't be too busy. It's much cheaper (there's a deal now where you'd get a park-hopper for up to 7 days at $85). The new Simpsons ride should be open by then. There's also lots for adults to do in and outside of the park.

We are not going to do both. We are not staying on site. We have a free place off. We were originally going to visit USF because we had never been. We are just afraid that after 1.5 days of USF we will be like "that's it." Being without the kids for the first time in 3 years, we want to make the most of it.

I say WDW, you will probably find much to do without the kids that you have never seen or noticed before.

In the off-peak times, I can get through both Universal parks in one day with time to spare. I can start at IOA in the morning, stop for lunch at citywalk, head to USF in the afternoon and then return to IOA for a last ride on Hulk or the Dragons in plenty of time, even with an off-peak 7pm closing time.

If you are spending 4 days, I am afraid you would be at a "that's it" moment with Universal sometime in Day 2. We always do 1 day at Universal and get our fill, and then 5 at Disney wishing we had more time.

Nothing against Universal, I always have a blast there. But if you are a WDW nut, you are best to spend your time there.

But that's just me!

Hmm... USF childless... you mean they're going the way of Vic and Al's and barring all the kiddies from the park? Huzzah! :D
