URGENT: Have I Messed Up?

I am heading out in a few hours for my red eye to the wonderful world of disney but just as luck has it - I realized a few potential problems. I am taking the Magical Express bus from MCO - the first problem is that my ex took the liberty of getting some of things together while I was at work today but also cut my luggage tag in half - he thought the one strip was for 2 different bags? I read the book and it said do not cut - will this be a problem? Also, originally I was staying at Music but changed to Sports last week and my luggage tag says MUSIC. I crossed out Music and put sports and now im worried that my bag will not make it to sports - have I messed up? Last question - do I wear my magic bang upon arrival at the airport? Again, my check in ticket for the bus says music.

I am about to have a breakdown..

If I were you I would not use the yellow magical express luggage tags. When you get off the plane, just go get your luggage and then board the Magical Express with your luggage. I just don't know if crossing out Music and putting Sports on the tag will get your luggage where it needs to go. Rather than worry about it, just pick the luggage up yourself.

The barcode on the yellow tag, when it is scanned, matches the luggage to your reservation. So if you changed resorts, and your confirmation stayed the same (it usually does), your luggage will get you you.

As long as the barcode on the yellow tag is intact, you should be good to go. If you cut the barcode in any way, that will cause issues.

The magic band can be scanned at the DME desk for them to easily find your reservation.

No problem, staple or solidly tape it back together and it'll work fine. The bar code is the same on both sides, but that's to allow scanning without having to flip it over. Changing resorts is also no problem, as said, the bar code links to your reservation, it'll go where you go.

As for picking up your luggage yourself, unless you're arriving late at night [after 10], letting them get it is so much more convenient. You get to your resort faster, check in and are at the parks sooner... What's not to love about that!

It all worked out. Once I arrived to my room tonight my luggage was waiting for me
