upgrading park hopper passes

My husband and I have two days left on our park hoppers. We would like to upgrade them to five day ones. I've heard you can do this, but does anyone know what they charge you?

They charge you the difference between what you paid per day for the hopper you have multiplied by the number of days you have left and what the current price of a 5 day hopper is when you purchase them.

That's not much of a bargain, is it? You'd be better off using your days up, and then purchasing a new four or five day pass. Assumming your coming back to use up the remaining tickets, that is!! Thanks for the info anyways.

You're right it's not much of a bargain. What's best to do all depends on your individual situation. A good rule of thumb with Disney tickets is always run the numbers.
