Upgrading Discount Tickets

My employer provides a great discount on Disney World 5-day Hopper passes, but 5-day is the longest ticket available. If I wish to upgrade to a 6-day or 7-day ticket do I only pay the additional $15 per ticket per day? (maintaining the original discount) or would I have to pay the difference between the 5-day discounted tickets and the 6-day gate price for tickets?

You can upgrade ofr only the difference between the current gate prices of the ticket. The key is to *use* the ticket to enter a park before you upgrade. Doing so locks in the value of the current gate price. Just visit Guest Relations at a park or Disney Springs after using it to enter a park.

The only downside is that it can't be done until you're there, so you're limited to advance booking FP+ for the number of days on the ticket now. (But once you upgrade, you can book the remaining days)
