Here's a few from this morning I took. After you click on one of the pictures select that picture that popped up for a much larger version.

I was just thinking how great this is going to be once the new dumbo opens....

We've been looking at the FLE from the same view (Dumbo) since this has started....with the new dumbo opening early 2012...we'll have an even greater view of FLE.

My only question is that looking at the concept art for all of FLE...are they still going to still have the main entrance be those "ticket booths" even if only dumbo is open first? or will they create a short temporary path to dumbo?

Thanks for the pictures, I have also posted pictures of the construction on my blog. It's so fun keeping up with the changes and we can't wait to see the results. Should be interesting to see how they open things as I had heard the train station will be one of the attractions opened first.

I have a Dumbo question. It looks as if ours is now going to include the water feature. I looked at some photos of other Dumbos around the world that have this and it seems there is nothing to stop the little kids from falling in the water once they open the gate to let them run to choose the Dumbo they want to sit in? How do they prevent this?

So cool - thanks for the photos (and thanks for putting the date in the title - helps my sleepy head identify threads I've seen the photos for! :D). It's crazy to me how close the back of the Dumbo show-building is to the Speedway track - do you think they are going to add landscaping to hide the back of that building?

Where are you seeing mine cart going vertical?

Couple of things I noticed in that guys update:

1. They started painting Erics castle.
2. They are finally adding the second batch of rock work to mermaid.

the large vertical piece of steel in the foreground between beast and mermaid
and here's a timelaspe of the whole project

In the second picture here it does look like a piece of vertical steel, but I think it's actually a piece of steel retaining wall getting ready to be driven into the ground. In the first picture the blue piece of equipment looks like a pile driver driving in a piece of the wall.

Parents keep them from falling in?

I think that Aladin's Magic Carpets have the same thing:

Nice to see they are building the bridges and starting on the water features that lead to both BOG restaurant and the Bell M&G.

I was at the Magic Kingdom this weekend and saw the iron beam, definitely the beginning of the SDMC. Also the hallway in the utilidors that leads to Belle’s M&G, and probably continuing to the restaurant, is completely done.

ob1thx1138...When I saw it, I made sure to snap a couple of photos of it because I too assumed it was the concept art bridge. It is very cool seeing from concept to reality take shape. Can't wait to see the larger Beast's Bridge once the wooden structure is removed.

well that structure is not there in the earlier aerial photos so I think this is the actual start of the road bed installation. We should see the beginning of the bridge to the little mermaid area start up soon.
