I have here a complete list of all rides and attractions in my Disney theme park resort currently. Although my Poll has yet to close, Captain Hook's Pirate Ships is listed in Adventureland, since that seems to be the most likely spot, given votes in the poll and some other plans I have come up with.

I also have added the 2-story Alice in Wonderland dark ride in Fantasyland to my Magic Kingdom park as well. In Discoveryland, Cosmic Waves is out, Innoventions has been replaced by Carousel of Progress, and SGE has been replaced by at Stitch motion simulator ride similar to Jimmy Neutron's Blast at Universal. At Disney Studios, I now have Harry Potter: The Ride, which is much like The Great Movie Ride combined with Star Tours; for example, in the Quittich scene, the vehicles carrying guests through Hogwarts move off a traditional ride track into a motion-simulator-like track/platform for the cars, which gives the feeling and illusion of flying! I also brought back Superstar Television, which gives selected guests the opportunity, through bluescreen technology, to appear in various TV sitcoms, both current and classic! :D

Great ideas! The only thing I might change is the Haunted Mansion. Personally, I really don't see how it fits in Adventureland. I could understand making it themed like the Phantom Manor and stiking it in Frontierland. I would like to see your reasoning behind it in Adventureland.

Good question! For one thing, the Haunted Mansion has never appeared in the same land twice (at least not yet), so I decided to keep up the tradition. Also, the Haunted Mansion in my Magic Kingdom/Disneyland theme park is actually in Carribean Plaza, themed somewhat like a Carribean colonial settlement, along with elements of Disneyland's New Orleans Square; primarily seen in architecture (much of the architecture of New Orleans is in fact rooted in the Carribean), shops, and restaurants (Tokyo Disneyland's Carribean Plaza in their Adventureland has the exact same theming and approach as mine). WDW's Carribean Plaza has more of a Carribean fort-like design/theme to it. In other words, including the Haunted Mansion in Adventureland's Carribean Plaza is also a way of incorporating elements of New Orleans Square into my park, as well as finding a new land to place HM in!

However, it is rumored that Hong Kong Disneyland will get the Haunted Mansion in Adventureland, though that one would be jungle-themed-- COMPLETELY different from mine! Architecturally, mine would look similar to Disneyland's HM, but more ghoulish looking (ie: gargoyles on the building, etc.).

I also have an area in my MK park that uses elements of Liberty Square at WDW's Magic Kingdom, called Liberty Street, which is a short road off of Main Street with a group of Liberty Square-like shops and restuarants themed around the Hall of Presidents. In fact, the idea for Liberty Street came from Walt Disney himself, which he planned for Disneyland in 1956! However, Liberty Street never was built, and eventually evolved into Liberty Square at WDW's Magic Kingdom! :D

Just thought you'd like to know! :animwink:
