Apple is just about the most secretive and closed company out there. Unless Disney converted one of the pavilions to look exactly like an Apple store, they would never go for it. If they want to partner with a company that loves to show off new technologies that it's working on, the best one would be Google.

Agreed, google is a much better company to showcase innovations and technology.

So you are saying Battlefield Earth was a better movie then.

Or cars 2 and john carter?

Agreed. I am guilty of actually enjoying Nemo at Epcot... But, to be fair, I went on the ride before I found out how amazing Epcot was originally. I do wish they'd bring Horizons back because people like me were never able to experience it. I couldn't care less about Mission Space.
I think the Nemo ride is better than the Living Seas ride that was there before. On my last trip I also had a great time at Crush, he was genuinely hilarious.

But it is all akin to me saying that I had an excellent burger, great stuff, much nicer than the local fast food place. Only to then remember that once instead of burgers they offered you haute cuisine.
Nemo makes for an excellent burger, but The Living Seas was more grand, more daring, more mysterious. And worked to enforce EPCOT's overall theme, its sense of place and of purpose.

If Disney at the MK were to replace Pirates with a 'Caribbean Splash and Soak Playground', and the Mansion with a crazy mouse coaster, then a lot of guests, most infact, will enjoy these new attractions. But despite their genuine enjoyment, it will be a step back, a lesser, less ambitious, less captivating park.

Me, I do love Mission Space. Surprisingly, I don't hate the new Imagination either. Like you, I also think the Nemofied Seas is a fun pavilion. It is! But...but when I think of the original EPCOT, I can only weep with regret and a sense of terrible loss.

I would love to see EPCOT become what EpCOT was originally imagineered to be. Keep the World Showcase. But god get rid of 95 % of Future World Soarin included and redesign it as Walt's vision.

To redesign it as Walt's vision they'd have to bulldoze the place and start from scratch. Epcot as it is, or even EPCOT Center as it was, has little to do with what he had it mind.

My thoughts:

The Seas - this is a tough one, I don't really remember much about the original, the new one is a bit underwhelming, but not too bad, I've never done Turtle Talk, but like Laugh Floor. Overall, even if folks think it could be better, I think it would be best to stay the same for now.

The Land - probable the place that feels most like older EPCOT and no major problems, no real help needed.

Imagination - I'll be honest, I never saw Captain EO and would like to see it before it leaves again, but that said, this needs a complete re-imagining, either closer to the original attraction or something new that can be tied together.

Test Track & M:S - not really much to do with either right now.

Wonders of Life - This building really needs to be used for more than just an event location, whether it's focused on health again or becomes about something else, put something here.

UoE - I think it needs changed/updated, not sure how much though.

World Showcase - build something in the Germany ride building and add a few countries, with a few new rides to attract people to the area and spread out the crowds even more.

Technology is moving towards efficency, finding new alternitives and protecting our planet. They could easily bring back Horizons with an new theme and some origional elements. It's not imposible, Test Track is going to be the ultimate futureistic auto thrill ride based on efficency. Comunication is pretty much at a dead end but now where dreaming of an earthly futureistic point of view more then ever just waiting to be showcased at Epcot. So maybe there will be another use for Horizons once again.
