Upcoming Visit Questions, BeachClub

Hi everyone, staying at the beach club (first time by the way for that particular resort) in a couple weeks and have a couple quesitons to get your opinion on. What do you suggest for breakfast? Cape May Cafe is a bit pricey though we may do it at least once one morning (using our tables in wonderland, not on dining plan). But do you go over to the boardwalk to Kouzzinas? Or do you get room service? So aside from cape may cafe what do you think is the best option? Also I see that they add on an 18% gratuity to room service, does that still mean an extra tip? Just curious on what the etiquette is with that in place now.

Also on the 24th we have liberty tree reservations for a 6:45 dinner, but the park closes at 7 that evening for the halloween party, which we arent part of. How do they handle that if you dont have event tickets? Do we have to rush out as soon as were done with dinner? Or are you allowed to walk around some still?

Thanks all any info appreciated or anything else you care to add, opinions are always a huge help.

If the 18% charge on the room service bill says "gratuity", they are legally supposed to give it to the server. Most of those will say "service charge" or something similar, which means the server gets nothing. Yes, you are supposed to tip the server, too.

Room service is convenient, but expensive!

Cape May is a decent breakfast. Like most Disney food, it isn't as good as its price tag...but that goes for most restaurants. I never walked over to BWI for any meal. Sorry.

Besides having breakfast at Cape May, I would walk over to Kouzzinas. Prices for breakfast are in the $11-$12 range which is moderate.

As MNSSHP, unfortunately Disney will ask you to leave probably right after dinner. The guests have special colored wristbands on to differentiate themselves from people who don't have tickets.
