Upcoming resort refurbs?

DVC has started using real murphy beds in place of the sleeper sofas. The manufacturer (Inova) calls them Sofa-WallBeds. DVC used them first at Riviera and then added them to SSR & PVB during their most recent refurbishments. VGF is slated to get them during it's upcoming soft goods refurbishment. Inova also makes a TableBed which Disney has recently added to some Value & Moderate Resorts.

I'm going to miss the old pull-out sofa beds. Those things were incredibly comfortable and I was always impressed that pull-outs could be so nice.

Yes, VGF is slated to get the new Sofa Murphy beds during the refurbishment in 2022. The rooms in Big Pine Key that are going to be converted to DVC Studios should also get the new Sofa Murphy beds.

I really hope the next refurbs at the Cabins add the Murphy beds back, so much easier at the end of the day.

The BRV refurb was confirmed for 2022 at the DVC meeting, but no dates given.
