Anyone excited for the upcoming pixar movie UP
I just saw a new promo trailer on disney channel and its looks really good
Don't know if it will meet wall-e standards,but you never know

Yes actually I'm surprisingly really excited! And I'm one of those people who gets highly skeptical of anything 3D because of trash like Monsters Vs Aliens. But UP looks smart funny and worth watching!

You know I've been watching the new clips and keeping an eye out for reviews (they screened about half earlier this year). Unfortunately I didn't get to see the first 40 some odd minutes but from what I have read, critics loved it. This article goes into pretty good detail. (warning potential spoilers though!!)

And from the footage that I have seen in clips and trailers, I am guessing this will be on par with Wall-E. Russell and Carl have this amazingly funny and yet touching relationship. I'm totally up for a classic adventure story but with 3D Pixar animation!
