UOE and JII closed

I'm an avid lurker, but I don't remember seeing this information. My parents are down in WDW right now and said that both UOE and JII were closed when they went to Epcot yesterday. Anyone know why? Sorry if this was already talked about; I couldn't find a post.

Both those attractions close at 7:00pm Daily.

If they got into Epcot later in the evening then they'd be closed..Now if it were say...oooh about 10:22 in the morning and a CM is at the entrance stating that it wasn't running might be some indication..

They're both scheduled to be open. If they went to one during the day, maybe it was closed for technical difficulties, then maybe they went to the other, and it just happened to be closed for the same thing. If they went after 7pm, they both close at 7.

I rode JII at about 6:30pm yesterday so it was open. Not sure about UoE though. It was EMH last night so JII should have been open after 7:00pm, but not UoE.
