I have been going to Disney since I was a kid and I am now in my mid-thirties.
Over the past few years we have been visiting Universal once per trip. I have to be honest with you that I am looking more forward to that one day every year rather than getting excited about Disney.
Don't get me wrong Disney will always have a special place in my heart, but the attractions in US use the latest technology, and I hate to say it they are far superior than most of the attractions at Disney. The Mummy and the Hulk have to be the two greatest rides ever created, not to mention Spider-man or Men in Black (which is far superior than Buzz light Year). Disney also had first dibs on the technology and passed on it. You know what they say sometimes you don't see the train coming until its too late.
Once again Disney will always have a place in my heart, but most of their attractions are old and need refurbishment, and their new attractions just cant compete with the big boys (Universal). When the park finally closes down in the next few years I will be there with my mouse ears on watching the wrecking ball destroy Cinderella's Castle thinking what could of been....What could of been....... Thanks for the Memories WDW......
