"unmagical"

I find it disturbing that they are planning ways to pack people into the parks with larger bus stations and additional ferry docks but the parks are staying the same with regard to size and ride capacity (more or less). Does anyone else see a lack of congruence with this? My magic 8 ball keeps sending me messages of doom and gloom to the point where the pixie dust is starting to not work as well anymore.

Sort of like 10 pounds of people in a 5 pound MK,? I thought about this when they announced BLT and then DVC at the GF and now the Poly.

DCL is simply amazing. Never a bad choice there IMO. But I still favor WDW, can't say why I guess but still my preferred week. Now a week on DCL and a week as WDW, well there you go :)

First time at WDW is over whelming, no doubt about that. But it left us with a deep feeling of "OK, now I can't wait to come back and do it right" which was cool for us and great for Disney's bottom line :)

I too, had an odd experience with MK parking last week that I wanted to hear others' thoughts on. I didn't think it was worthy of its own thread, so I thought I'd piggy back on this one.

Got to MK parking about 2pm one day last week. After going through the toll booths, we didn't encounter a single CM anywhere. Not just that they were not directing cars, they simply were nonexistent.

We had a Diamond pass, so we followed the signage (actually a single sign) for Handicapped/Diamond to the front of the lot. There was nothing and nobody indicating where we should go so we hunted for a spot. We ended up at the end of a row with nowhere to go but the exit. So we headed that way and ended up going against the grain to reenter the lot. There weren't a lot of other cars driving around, but the ones that were seemed to be as confused as we were.

We ended up in what may have been the handicapped area but it was impossible to be sure. The spaces each had one white stripe and one blue stripe, but no signs. I walked up and down the row and observed that about half the cars had handicapped signs and the rest had Diamond vouchers. We didn't get a ticket but I still don't know if we parked properly or not.

With the exception of AK, I've never been in a Disney lot, especially MK that didn't have a small army of CMs assisting drivers - but this time, no one at all.

I've saw this lot on our Nov. trip - I would be returning from nap time with my son and after you pass though the booths it's find your own spot. I like it I would normally get a spot better then when we left for nap time.

This happened to me yesterday! And what's even weirder is that when I was leaving Epcot at around 7, they still had CMs parking people with only a few hours to close whereas MK was a ghost town just a few minutes later and it still had a good 5 hours of operation left (not including last night's EMH)
