Not Really. We have to work with Machinery that's more powerful in many cases, and be able to operate said machines around thousands of people each hour that don't know what they're doing. Now, if you had total strangers standing around in this warehouse while you were operating the machines every minute of every hour, then you may understand.
I invite you to one day get a job at the FedEx hub and see what I'm talking about. You constantly have tugs driving around people inside in the freight slide areas, so I think that qualifies. On the outside of the buildings you have tugs driving around with containers on dollys all day long, around other people. The tugs themselves weigh a couple of tons or more, can't remember off hand because I haven't been out there in 2 years. The dollys weigh about 500lbs and each container can weight anywhere from 300lbs to 12klbs. Usually you're driving these tugs at about 15 mph and they're not exactly easy to stop on a dime. Trust me, I know all about heavy machinery.
That being said, this is what I love about you WDWMagic folks, we can have a spirited discussion here with no hurt feelings yet on other sites, like MiceChat, you can't say things to certain people because they use the buddy system instead of letting people speak their minds in a civilized fashion.:sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:
