I honestly believe that everyone should strive to learn something new every day. I try. Sometimes it works out....other times...well not so much.

Today I Iearned a lot.......a lot about poodles, and service animal trainers that abuse the system, and I even learned Katiebug's name is Jennifer.

Not the type of learning I was striving for. But learning - just the same.

There is far too much to get a cliff notes version. Reading the whole thing is advisable. Also do not read whilst drinking anything in front of your keyboard/phone/device.

Like so many great literary works of the past, this thread needs to be adapted into a timeless motion picture.

To follow in the footsteps of Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings, Rowling's Harry Potter, Dicken's A Christmas Carol, and Lewis's Chronicles Of Narnia to name just a few... THIS tale of adventure is worthy to be showcased on the big screen.

If anyone has ways of getting in touch with director Ron Howard, do send him the entire contents of this thread with great haste. If Samuel L. Jackson could narrate some of the more excitable comments, that would be an added bonus, but we'll take whoever we can get.

The fact is, times are changing and the population is growing, which means Disney has to change the way it operates in order to keep up with the growing demand for its parks. And not once have I, and probably 98% of posters here, had such an unmagical experience that you did. Why? Because we all prepared and planned for our Disney vacations in the way that’s required now for a Disney vacation. If you love Disney enough it’s really not an issue to have to plan ahead. Your entire situation could have been avoided, if you would have just done your research. If this isn’t what you wanted to hear, then you shouldn’t have posted it here for everyone to see.

This was a troll post thread. The OP posted one thing and left and caused 55 pages worth of responses.

This is more of a gag thread that gets reactivated every once in a while for a good laugh.

That and KatieBug is never coming back!....unless she is Susan. I am really starting to believe she is Susan:cautious:

For laughs, I am really starting to think that some of us should take a stab at "modernizing" KatieBug's post to the current state of Disney and all the complaints we have overheard at Disney.
There are already ten's if not hundreds of thread that already do that... but feel free to take another stab at it.

Perhaps we could get Stephen King to do the screenplay since this is a horror story of epic proportions.
And Bette Midler would make a perfect Katiebug101.

So I have to say OP...I just read your post non of the follow up, but the whole "magic" was ruined thing, a lot of that is probably on you by making promises there was no way you could keep. If a restaurant was important to you, you should know by now because it's not just been years but well over a decade now that getting a good ressie requires planning. The other stuff, well they have to do work on the place sometimes, it's call upkeep, if the moat was dirty and full of crud you would be saying, "why don't they dredge the thing". I will agree with you, that I find they hide the Prinesses too much, they could make meeting them easier at least I think so, but...there are ways to assure that they could meet them. I assume the older ones were not crying about not seeing them, and child would only cry if YOU promised they would get to meet them. That was a promise you made without planning how to make sure it happened which you could have done with planning.

Since she hasn't been back in 4 years, she probably won't be heeding your advice. :joyfull::joyfull::joyfull:
