8th Voyage of Sinbad, Poseidons Fury(so its not the best version to date but its still pretty impressive)

Mythos, Enchanted Oak Tree Tavern, Confisco Grill, Thunder Falls Terrace are all great dining locations. Mythos especially!

Whats wrong with these??

Ok for someone who thinks universal is a waste of money, ok try this:

1. The passes are a hell of alot cheaper than disney (no offence to my other fellow WDW fans) cus i'm an annual pass holder to both disney and universal believe me i know.

2. The rides are a little bit better i mean like quantity and excitement (no offence to me fellow wdw fans) than what disney mgm has to offer, the only 3 rides i like at mgm are the tower, the rock and rollercoaster and startours, do you see my point on this one?

3.You're nuts lol sorry only kidding, i love disney and universal equally hell i've seen both the upcomming of 2 disney parks (AK and studios) and the whole of universal orlando in my time and have never regarded the universal parks a waist of money more like saving money.

4. Go to that god/religous themepark and then come back and tell us if universal is a waste of money cus that park although educational wise it's probably good but really it deserves to be free or not be there at all.

5. I certainly don't think that rides such as bttf, mib, jaws, earthquake, twister, T23D, horror make-up show, HB, spiderman etc are a waste of money, i think them as all time classics. I mean c'mon when was the last time disney came up with a ride similar to Spiderman? (again no offence to me fellow WDW fans)

6. Get some guide books on universal like oh um fodor's guide to universal orlando who i believe also did one on disney, they regard universal orlando as the best movie themepark resort in the world and by the way they are highly rated when writing travel guides.

7. Disney wouldn't be Disney without any competition!

Annual passes for Universal are a good bit cheaper, but there are only 2 parks instead of 4 like Disney.

Single day tickets are 49.95 at US and 50.00 at Disney. That's not much cheaper.

Ahh there always is at least ONE bad thing at a park. Universal is fun though. I do not have to be hung upside down at high speeds all day (not that i don't mind that either) to have my fun. Like it was said before. Each to their own.

Oh yeah, back to the topic...

Universal Studios is by no means a waste of $$...I really enjoy it there!

Besides, it really is all a matter of taste...I'm not a big thrill ride person, so (unfortunately) I'll never see the inside of IOA because there will be too little for me to do to make it worth the price to me. That doesn't make IOA a waste of money for a lot of people - it's just not my thing.

I suppose my point is to each their own - if you didn't enjoy USF, just don't visit again!

MIB, BTTF, Earthquake, Jaws and terminator. a GLIMPSE of the Ghostbusters. only good reasons for universal.IOA is excellent....but a waste of money to just do a few rides at Universal or even IOA that's why i only go a few years to universal. disney still has a lot more to offer.
