Universal Tickets - Can you share?

Hello all,

I will be visiting Universal with two different friends on two different days (one friend per day) during the same week. Can they share a two day ticket or does Universal use the fingerprint thing or require some other kind of ID?

Universal has finger scanners.

Sharing tickets is not permitted.

Tickets cannot be shared.

With that said, for people who want to "cheat," their best bet is to have the second day user purchase the ticket with their ID. Then the first day user would use the ticket and the fingerprint scanner will lock in the first (albeit incorrect) person's scan with that ticket. On the second day, the correct user's fingerprint will obviously not match the one from the previous day, so the employee will ask to see an ID, which *will* match the name on the ticket (since they purchased it), and the scan will be reset to that (correct) user.

But please remember the official policy that tickets are not transferable.
