Universal Studios VIP experience

Just a quick question...

For you all that have done the Universal Studios VIP Experience....what did you think? Was it worth the money?

Universal Offered us The Gold passes for me and my wife for the Harry Potter Rides, but was wondering if it would be worth it to just upgrade for 1 day the VIP experience?

We did the VIP a loooooong time ago 2005 maybe in Hollywood. We loved it and thought it was worth every penny. It was just my husband and I though. We had a great time and loved out tour guide. We are the type to enjoy all the behind the scenes stories and tidbits.
