Today was our first park day of the trip. We're doing 2 Uni days and 6 Disney. Today was our first Uni day, and it was semi crowded. Now it wasn't that bad, but I've never been to Uni in September and I was expecting crowds like those at WDW in September. We did notice that the majority of the people seemed to be either from Southern America or Euros. My wife was talking to a Brit that said they had something going on for Euros, like Passover or something like that, and not the Jewish holiday kind of thing. Just didn't expect that many people.

That being said, we had a good time. It rained a bit but was light and didn't ruin any fun. It seems like ALL Uni employees take their job seriously and have fun doing it. When we were exiting Suess Land, this lady and guy were cleaning up trash and she punted an empty bottle to him. I made a remark about knowing who would be taken if they went into another lock out. It's interaction like that and all of the smiling faces that impressed us.

The only negative was when we were at the 50's diner eatery, can't think of the name. The kids and I were waiting for my wife to bring the tray and I saw a small (1/2 inch) roach at the end of the table, against the wall. I know that Florida is known for roaches of great size, and I know there's tons of waste/food in the area, so I just flicked him off the table and shrugged it off.

Saturday is our second/final day at Uni, so I'm hoping that most of these crowds will be gone. We'll see!

That could happen anywhere in Fla. I have family who lives in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. There's a saying: "Any given building in the state of Florida has at least 200 roaches, and 2 unemployed people."
(Not really that funny imo, but makes the point).

In a tropical paradise environment, that should be expected.

I guess that is why he was fine with it and did not make a big deal out of it.

I was at IOA on the 14th and it was empty, even WWoHP wasn't that busy. We walking on absolutely everything even FJ. The only thing we saw that had a queue was Olivanders.

As a result we finished IOA pretty early and went to Uni to hit up some of our favourites and surprisingly Uni was a bit more busy from IOA.
