I want to go to Universal. I can't wait to ride E.T., Back to the Future, see Battlestar Galactica and the big King Kong animatronic on the tram and the Conan the Barbarian show! They even have Star Trek! It sounds better than Disney!
I didn't know you were old enough to see most of that. I did and it was awesome!

Well, we've got two of those things over here in Florida ;)

Joke aside it looks like I'll be missing out on USH for a second time this summer. For whatever reason no one wants to go but me. We are doing the Warner Bros. Studio Tour though.

There are worse things to miss. I am very happy for USH that they are starting to get some momentum, and I enjoyed my visit there (just before the parkwide reconstruction surgery got really serious), but it's still pretty weak compared to Florida, IMO.

You'll love the Warners Tour, though. It's twice as long as the Universal tour, it at least appeared to be somewhat-customized based on group interest, and we actually got to stop the tram, get out, and walk around a bit! On the normal tour! And you'll get to see some actual TV sets too. It's pretty fantastic.

I want to do the Warner Brothers tour to see all the stuff from the Tim Burton Batman films.
Do you get to meet the Warner brothers and their sister Dot?

I remember seeing the Warner Brothers and Dot when during my first visit to Six Flags Great Adventure. If I remember correctly it was around 2002 since I remember the website was promoting the then upcoming Live-Action Scooby Doo Movie. While I didn't meet them, I think I spotted the three during a daytime parade (Which the name I can't remember). I remember they were sitting in a car while a different one featured Pinky and Brain. While the other floats featured characters from the Looney Tunes and Scooby Doo franchise. But I remember seeing the Warner Brothers and Warner Sister the most. I wish they were meetable though.

Since I believe you live in Florida and can likely go to the Universal there, I don't blame them for not wanting to come to USH. It's been 10, probably going on 11 years since I was there, and even with the new Harry Potter stuff, which looks amazing, it's hard for me to get too excited about going there. I think we're going this summer, but I'm wondering if the $500+ it's going to cost the four of us to go for one day (with transportation) is really going to be worth it. Eh, I guess. I feel like I'm spending $500 to ride one ride, and the cheapness is me is shouting, "Are you crazy!?!?!??!"

Do they still have the Marvel area? I guess we'll enjoy that too.

By one ride I assume you mean the tram and that you have been on FJ in Florida? Assuming you've been to the Universal parks in Florida recently I think it is a waste. I think that $500 would be better spent somewhere else.

A waste for Florida or Hollywood?

The tram tour is pretty cool if you're even a mild movie buff. Some of the other rides are pretty good. Simpsons ride is fun.

I thought Potter was pretty good but a little blurry because of the 3D glasses. I though Transformers was better. My favorites are still Jurassic Park, the Tram and the Special Effects show.

I'm going with the Tram ( minus Fast n Furious), Jurassic Park and the Mummy as my top 3 with FJ coming in 4th. Did you hear they removed the 3D from FJ at USH?

Oh I forgot about Transformers. I GUESS that'll be okay. I hate the Transformer movies, but the actual Transformer Characters aren't so bad. I've always been kind of afraid of them. That must be why I found Ultron to be so scary and creepy. That trailer where he says, "There are no strings on me." Seriously creeps me out to the bone. My son knows this and will always surprise me with it when I'm least expecting it.

I meant the Harry Potter ride. I've never been to the Florida version, so that'll be all new to me. That's why I want to go. Otherwise I never would.

The Transformers ride is great. And I'm not a Transformers fan.

Oh. If you or your kids are big Harry Potter fans I guess it's worth it. As a So Cal native and someone that just went to USH a couple months ago I think $500 would be a waste for one day. Then again, I don't really enjoy motion simulators and I'm not the biggest Harry Potter fan. I liked the movies but have only seen them once each (ABC family marathon).

The Tram is the real reason to go to USH. From what I understand everything else is better at USF.

Honestly if anybody has been to UOR anytime recently, it's really not worth going to USH as they have pretty much the same exact stuff, just less of it and squeezed into a smaller park.

The only thing that is worth it at USH is the tram tour, but that alone isn't worth $100+ per person.

A LOT of folks disagree with you, many opt for the VIP Experience at over $300 a person...
