Poseidon's Fury is a waste of space. It had that one cool water element to it, then a crappy video projection on a wall. Wow, amazing. I'm sure they could do far better. Ideally they should just rip out the inside and turn it into a dark boat ride with the same theme. The exterior is just so awesome...it hints at something great.
That said, I think IOA is a top-notch park and it is definitely not far from its first day glory IMO. Just needs some paint and fixing of a few effects here and there. My biggest complaint is that the Hulk is so bumpy now. I wish there was something they could do for older steel coasters to make them smooth again. This ride simply has not aged well...probably from having to run 365 days a year.

The building on the top left is Poseidon. The building on the upper right is Cat in the Hat, an average-sized dark ride. They'd have to tear down the current building and do a little rearranging to put a decent ride in Poseidon's place.

No. Everything else is unchanged. He was oversimplifying the attraction just a wee bit.

I was at IOA over the weekend, and while I enjoyed it, the place was empty. I walked right onto Hulk, Spiderman and Dueling Dragons. My friends suggested we see poseidons fury, and I liked it. Although that might have been because our tour guide was pretty good.
